Acedia Audio started during lockdown. Learning music production alongside a musician who worked faster and made decisions with more confidence than I could keep up with. The pace was useful - it meant having to commit to ideas quickly.
What stuck from those sessions was a specific observation about the tools. The right control in the right plugin could compress ten minutes of fiddling into a single deliberate move. The wrong tool slowed everything down and pulled everyone out of the creative flow.
That experience became the design brief for everything Acedia Audio releases. Tools that match the pace of how creative producers actually work.

We were never satisfied with the choice. We think the two can co-exist, and that's what we're all about - precise, yet playful.
