Yes! All Acedia Audio plugins are able to be used on machines using M1 or newer apple silicon chipsets.
Yes, Intel based Mac machines are currently supported.
If your plugin requires an update you can click on the pop up which appears when you launch your outdated plugin, or download the latest version of the plugin by navigating to your account and visiting the 'Products' tab, then selecting the plugin you desire to update.
After using the installer, please restart your DAW (if necessary check that your system VST folder is enabled in your DAW settings). You should find our plugins under the 'Acedia Audio' organisation name.
Each of our plugins will have specific system requirements which can be found in the technical information section of their product page.
An internet connection is only required during the activation process, once activated you may use your plugin without needing an internet connection.
Currently we support AU, VST3, and AAX plugin formats.
Yes! If you wish to activate your plugin whilst offline, click the 'Offline Activation' text within the activation window in your plugin. Then click on 'Generate Machine File', and save the .dt file. After this you will need to navigate to the 'Offline Activation' prompt found in the Technical Information section of the relevant plugin. Click the prompt to open a window which will allow you to upload the saved .dt license file. After which you can download your license file. Now you can return to your plugin window, clicking 'Next' to open the window where you can drop in the downloaded 'license-token.mb' file to activate your plugin.
There are no feature limitations when using one of our plugins in trial mode, you will have full functionality until the trial expires.
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with full functionality. Just visit acediaaudio.com, navigate to the product page, and click to start your trial. You'll need to create a free account to activate the trial. If you decide to purchase, your trial seamlessly converts to a full license.
Within the plugin page you will often find a quick-start-guide and manual toward the bottom of the page.
Yes! Updates and bug fixes for Acedia Audio plugins are provided free of charge. You'll be notified when updates are available, and you can download them directly from your customer portal. We recommend keeping your plugins updated to ensure the best performance and compatibility with the latest DAW versions.

Yes. An account is required to activate Acedia Audio plugins and manage your licenses. Creating an account is quick and free — just provide your email address during the purchase or trial activation process. Your account lets you manage device activations, download updates, and access your licenses from anywhere.

You are able to download purchased plugins from your customer portal, then accessing the 'Products' tab, selecting your desired plugin and downloading the installer for your operating system. Once the installer is downloaded you will need to close any DAW you may have open, then run the installer and follow the instructions. Once installed you can navigate to your DAW, opening your Acedia Audio plugin and following the instructions on screen to activate.
If the plugin doesn't appear after installation: • Restart your computer (not just your DAW) • Ensure your DAW is set to scan the plugin folders in preferences • Manually trigger a plugin rescan in your DAW • Check that VST3 or AU is enabled in your DAW's plugin preferences • Verify the plugin files exist in the installation folders Most issues should resolve with a full computer restart and DAW rescan.
Yes! Your single-user license includes up to 3 simultaneous device activations. This lets you use your Acedia Audio plugins on your studio computer, laptop, and live rig etc. Activations are floating — you can deactivate one device and activate another anytime through your customer portal.
Deactivation is self-service and instant: 1. Log into your customer portal 2. View your plugin license 3. See all activated devices listed 4. Click to deactivate the device you no longer need The activation slot is immediately available for another computer.
